The artist has never experienced this house, yet through narrations of rich family history that continued to live in the artist's spatial memories a dynamic experiential quality is represented for her absence.

This house was owned by the artist's grandfather who was a draftsman by profession. It had a balanced adaptation of traditional and modern architectural elements.Traditional dark green wooden carved screens and a blend of simple geometrical patterns, was a perfect blend of the two styles.

The house inhabited owner's younger brother and his family on upper floor. At the corner of the house, was a shop owned by him and its upper floor was rented out for residential purpose. The roof was further connected to adjacent family members living in next street.To show this whole urban fabric and soul of the house, the artist has knitted its facade and objects utilised by its inhabitants. A dark wooden dining table which was used as a prime furniture for unification of all family members, is knitted with an inscription of invitation for food and to re-cherish moments. Its peculiar huge size hints towards a playful and intriguing character for playing hide and seek underneath it. Furthermore, this curiosity element is enhanced by knitting locked/ half opened trunks, stored in maisonette floor which simultaneously provokes an element of fear as well, as described by its inhabitants.

The house was well connected from street level to roof. Therefore, its roof through knitted parapets shows endlessness, while hopping from one to another which in a way represents the connectivity of residents and fluidity of borders. On the facade, a protuding balcony is shown which worked as a watchtower over the whole street. The knitted shop corner with a favourite soft drink Adda, links this house as a prime meeting point, Furthermore, the connectivity of the house is represented through knitted Tharras(street bench) on its entrance, acting as a intermediary and buffer zone between outside and inside world. . Likewise, a knitted white masjid is hanged nearby, acting as a strong visual and audible landmark.
